I accumulated alot of bugs on the front bumper, grill, windshield lately so i decided to go by the car wash on the way home. I used the high pressure sprayer to get rid of all the nasty's and in process of giving the grill and lower grill area a good cleaning i must have cleaned up the components behind the grill because when i drove home from the car wash the a/c seemed to be much cooler. For those of you that own homes its a known thing to spray and clean out the condenser coil on the outside unit to help the a/c system function efficiently, also the same for those who have a heat pump for your pool. Well i never thought to do the same for the coils behind the grill for the a/c, radiator, trans cooler. After giving them a good wash the a/c ran alot cooler. So if your a/c seems to be cooling alittle half-assed then i would suggest giving the coil a good cleaning.

Nice. That will come in handy in these crazy heat waves

check this too!

between the radiator and the cooler there is a gap that fills with leaves, take off the plastic cover and look down between the units, you will see a buildup. clean this out too!

I just went out and looked for the area you guys are talking about... what exactly does the A/C coils look like? I am retarded

It looks just like the radiator, location is in front of the radiator. If you are nor sure you will think that it is the radiator. If you take the plastic cover off of the radiator, then you will see the two sysytems. The front one is the condenser for the AC and rear one is your radiator.

Ah okay. I did that and there was nothing in between the gap. On my next wash I will hose it out anyways, I am sure the fins are caked with tiny things. At least no big leaves or anything in there.
