VSS wire in the dash?

I have no clue.. I was reading then I saw them start talking about headunits and thought that the OP got confused..

So I got the head unit installed and decided not to install the speed sensor wire, turns out the head unit won't work unless it is hooked up. That brings me back to where the hell this wire is. Anyone know where I could hookup to get the pulse for the speed sensor?

I did this with a prevous headunit and it worked fine.

Never thought of that. I will try it tomorrow but I think it needs the pulse.

The installation manual says that the speed pulse signal is required.

Grounded should work.. When hooked up to a sensor that isn't moving, it's at zero or ground.. Well that's how it SHOULD work

yeah, no kidding. Can I hook it up to the speed servo or does a wss a better idea? see diagram.

I'm always kinda iffy when it comes to cutting into a factory harness.. I have to do it for my IAC and I will dread every second of it.. I would just use the kit Joe posted

damn i missed the K in the model number, i was thinking that it was a kenwood DNX series, kinda gay that you have to have a VSS signal.
