I got a good pair of visors (from a 98 w/homelink) to put in my 95. NG the 95 has a double visor, trying to keep it orginal. Got a 97 base needed HL. 97 doesn't have moon roof, visors too short I read where a member installed HL into a visor. I'm not into sewing so extended brackets made sense. Here's what I came up with. I took the Homelink from a set of visors that didn't fit my car. The visor is basically a clamshell assembly that has "teeth" that hold in the fabric. There was no sewing involved, but the material itself is very fragile, and I ended up tearing it a little when stretching it during reassembly. It already had a couple small slits in it from wear, so I can live it for now. Just a little soldering on the wires and works great. I practised disassembly on the old visors before taking apart the visors I was actually putting back into the car.

I was worried about rips and tears. The visors going in are in great shape. My 95 they self-destructed, I'll have them re-done when they do the interior.
