when i have the car running for a little while (2001 LS 8) and have it in park, it starts to vibrate or bump almost. the rpm's aren't moving at all and it's only after a few minutes of sitting there idling. It doesn't really bother me but i was just wondering if this is normal or not

you should get it fixed. a misfire is not good for the car.

How many miles are on the car? The factory plugs are good for upwards of 100,000 miles, but in actuality, the gap starts to get pretty wide by then and the lean mixture you have at idle is hard to fire across a wide gap. You might want to pull the plugs and take a look.

And by the way, if you do decide to throw plugs in it, don't get caught up in all the hype about plugs. Just buy a set of factory recommended Motorcraft plugs and be done with it. If you are still on the factory plugs, you will have a different part numbered plug for each side...the replacements will all be one part number. This is normal and no need for concern.

the car has 62,000 miles and i just bought it from the dealership on monday...it feels fine when i'm driving and everything and i just barely feel it when it idles for awhile

I would check the plugs just to be sure. But there are many other things that can cause that too. Is the idle speed correct? Do you have a slight vacuum leak somewhere? Looks like something that's going to take some time diagnosing.

Unless you got a "curb warranty", I would take it back to them and make them fix it!
