This is on my new daily driver the 98 mark viii.
The drivers seat was so broken down that the wire structure supporting the foam was about to come through the leather.
(it was also VERY uncomfortable)
So I was going to put in a spare seat but it was starting To have the same problem. but not as bad.

I know the feeling. My wife sits on the edge of the seat and scoots over. Doesn't work so well and wears out stuff.

That is the actual hinge for seat poking through.

So I ripped apart an old shoe and belt for some leather re-enforcement.
First i wrapped some from the bottom of the wire glued it to another piece on the top with yet one more for thickness.20160124_154929.jpg20160124_155006.jpg
Then I took foam from an old seat
Cut it up be best I could glued it to the top of the old foam.
Hers the chunk of foam.
