Just did the VCG, plugs and coils. Car was runnig very rough and would shift with a shake coming out of first and had a constent CEL.

Only one coil boot was covered in oil and all 6 still look good. Everything has cleared up and it pulls hard again. no more hesitation at 80-100 Km anymore either.

CEL is still on. I will wait a couple of days to see if it clears or I will reset the mother.

Thanks for all the info on this forum. Saved me a lot of $$ even though my knuckles payed the price. (I am part gorilla)

Disconnect the negative battery cable for about 1/2 hour will reset the CEL.

Be sure to check the CEL first. What was it??? Sometimes there are multiple CEL's and fixing just one leaves the others still flagged.

any1 have a pic of the v6 without the appearance cover so i can show the part i think it is? It's the piece that's by the coils that snaps in that is hooked up to the hose. Looks like it's leaking oil.

I found my camera to take a pic,
