V6 engine Gen 1 and Gen 2

It looks like the V6 from 2002 is very similar engine if not same for the Gen 2. Would the intake for the Gen 2 fit on a V6 from 02???

No they are not the same. They would bolt up but it woulld not function properly as is has two intake tuning valves and the gen one only has one. It would bolt up to the heads though.

Is he talking about the intake manifold or the intake tubes?..

They are very close, I think that the Gen1 is longer.
