Using Mp3 player with factory radio

I have a 2000 LS and would like to hook up my Mp3 player (Zen Micro) to the factory stereo and be able to use the stereo to control the Mp3 player and not lose the use of the steering wheel controls. Is their a kit that would work for what I am looking for? I don't want the one that you have to tune into a certain station to get it to work either. If it helps I have the factory cd changer that I dont mind getting rid of to make this work, would this be all I need: http://www.scosche.com/products/sfID1/151/sfID2/315/productID/1577, any help would be appreciated.

I don't remember an imput like that in the back of the 2000 head unit. You may be SOL until you upgrade your head unit (since mp3 players were no where near as popular in 2000. I believe the technology was still either r&d or in it's retail infancy)
