Typhoon Cold Air Intake

I ordered the above cold air intake for my 2006 Lincoln LS. Anyone else have experience with this product? Can one expect a torque increase as well? I only read about the HP numbers.

Horsepower is a mathematical expression of torque measurements. A dyno, for instance, measures torque and then calculates torque.

Horsepower is for braggin' and torque moves your car!

The way it has been explained to me is that torque gets the vehicle moving and HP keeps it moving

I am going to fab my own. I just happen to have a cousin who has all the equipment. Can anybody tell me the diameter (OD) of the Typhoon intake tube? The other inlets I can take from my existing intake.

You need to measure the diameter at the inlet of the throttle body and make up something at least that large in diameter. The hard part is placing the MAF at the inlet.

I think if you went with 3", you would be golden..
