How big of a flatscreen tv box have you fit in the trunk?
I'm thinking of buying a 46" lcd and wonder if it will fit. :shifty:

It won't fit. I tried to fit a 42" flatscreen in the trunk last year. Not enough room between the trunk and rear seat to fit through.

aw shucks :) thanks.

Actually, the more I read about it, you shouldn't transport large flatscreens flat anyway because the screen can flex and become damaged.

I fit a Sony 42" Vega LCD in the back seat. I had to fold the bottom of the seat up and fit it in at an angle but it worked. The Sony is one of the older ones with a big case around it, measures 32" high. It was a tight fit but it worked.

I fit a 42" samsung plasma in the back seat. no box though. it was tight!

40" Toshiba last year, had to use a belt my friend held onto to keep the trunk from flying open... Plus my drivers side seat wont fold down.... wtf

I fit a 52" sharp aquos lcd tv with the seats folded down about 5 months ago.

however I shouldve just had it delivered. it was quite a bitch getting it out of the damn car

At first I though you wanted to put a tv in the trunk and install it there to watch, like for tailgating and stuff.Have it delivered or get a friend with an suv/truck, you want that baby in one piece when it gets to your house
