Is there a way to disable the interior lights from turning on when a door is opened?

But why would you want to?

I like being able to see in my car at night. Yeah you could just remove the bulbs or fuses.

If it's just the driver's door that you're concerned about, then you could add a toggle switch such that when it's thrown the FEM will think that the door is always closed and therefore won't turn the interior lights and puddle lamps on.
