Tuning question

So if I go with the prp, will I have to get either a switch chip or xcal2? If I can use the chip I have now that would be nice, but its just a single tune chip.

Another option I was considering was just sending my chip to someone to get it burned again. Who is the best of the best? I got the chip from Dennis, but didnt notice a lot of difference like some poeple say they do. Maybe my butt-dyno needs calibrated, but I didnt notice any big gains.

With all the mods I have done since then I really need a new tune.

Well if you bought a burner you could reburn the chip yourself....

I don't really know if there is a BEST tuner....

Thanks Brandon. I'm not going to waste my time explaining my logic with that attitude.

Sorry if I was being a little excessively blunt.... I guess I will restate;

If you are going to choose to run nitrous I believe it to be part of the cost of the initial set up to get a proper tune for the nitrous. One of the aspects of a performance NA tune is to advance timing and usually lean out the WOT AFR's.... These two aspects that help improve HP at WOT can cause dangerous potentially engine damaging conditions when using nitrous. On top of being potentially dangerous you are also not maximizing the potential of the nitrous which a specific nitrous tune will do.

I did not say not to tune for the nitrious. My point is if you already have an Xcal or chip it's not a must to run out and buy a switch chip. How much horsepower do you realistically think your giving up? I'd rather put the money towards a remote bottle opener and be able to spray whenever I wanted too. Gt the switch chip down the road.
