wtff!!!!!!! i opened my trunk today and i pull the thing up to just see if my window spray is there and i noticed all this water

i did check if it was leaking anywhere didnt see anything

Did you move the spare and look?

If it isn't wet in the trunk and just the spare wheel well you need to move the spare for that is where the water is getting in.

my brother had this issue. it was either weatherstripping, or a blocked drain hose for the moon roof, i forget. i'll try to find out exactly what it was and chime back in.

also - grommlets on the rear taillights and draining on the bottom of the trunk tub.

Can you get some pics of what you mean, I have the same problem and I think its the tail lights but I cant seem to find out where its leaking from. When I took the car in after I bought it they said it was leaking from one of the tail light seals and said they fixed but it still leaks just not as bad.

notice in the picture

do you notice in the picture that the right side of the tire is dry and the left is covered with water. The leak is coming from the left. the water comes straight down the side rails of the trunk, look for any rust spots too.

i though it was just cuz it was moist in there in the summer time this never happen but now snow + the rain it started ill check on tue my dad is taking my ls to work tomorrow

Is that a band aid? :p

Leaks are usually found by crawling in with a flash light and having someone else soak the back of the car with the hose.

I noticed moisture in my trunk, have you found out what's causing this?

I ended up removing my drain plug permanently b/c of the moisture.

Mine seems to be leaking under the weatherstripping around the sides. I ran my fingers along the bottom of the trunk seal after it rained and it was wet under there. Is that stuff glued down or just slipped over a flange?
