Trunk Taillights

Kinda strange. I lost my trunk remote and button a few days ago and now I find my trunk lights are not working.

Fuses seem OK. Must be in the harness to the trunk, I guess.

broken wire in the trunk harness is pretty common.
i had to re solder a wire back there once.

yup, mine is doing the same, all of a sudden one day the light inside the trunk didn't work and I couldn't figure it out why until I noticed the bundle of wires clipped to the hinge was exposed in one spot, and one wire was worn through..haven't gotten around to diving in there and fixing it yet though..

Three wires broken. Right at the connector just behind the cover where the wire harness goes into the rest.

Kinda surprised me, I just lost my trunk button and then the trunk tail lights, did not expect to see 3 wires broken.

Edit: Now the trunk light works too.
