Will this fit a 2001 LS-V8 Spolrt w/o that system??

Im not for sure. Look in your trunk up under the roof of it and see what is up there. there might be some bolts where it can go. Id wait to see if anybody can help you with this.

this will plug in a non-alpine system car. i know, i did it. the problem is that even after you connect the plugs in the trunk, there will still be no sound as the non-alpine radios don't have the extra plug. it can be rigged, but i'm not sure how. that is why i will be seling mine after tyler. i don't want to go the the hassle of figuring it out.

So... If I understand all this correctly. I have an 01 LS with the Alpine unit. I do not have the speakers in the trunk. What your selling would probably bolt right up to the underside of the package tray, and wire right into the factory wiring harness. Is what your selling a OEM Lincoln part?

so you took out this factory speaker system out when you installed a custom stereo system. I'm a little slow on the uptake but I think I'm starting to understand. I'm assuming they were working fine when you removed them.

i'm not sure about him, but i got mine to use, but unfortunately i can't with some wiring modification, which i don't feel like doing. my box is brand new, never been used. i believe tyler went with a big box in the trunk, but he can correct me on that.

Yea everything works and is in good shape. The only thing missing is the cord from the radio to the harness on the amp because that runs through the car and i couldnt take it out. If you need one there probably cheap and somebody will have one. But for the speakers and amp everything is good.

Also do you live in Mechanicsburg, OH. because i live in miamisburg, OH, and thats not to far away. Just wondering.

Ok my Head Unit is a 6-CD In-Dash.Is this the alpine radio??? nad will this speakers and amp fit my 2001 LS???

1) not unless it says alpine on the cd slot.
2) they will fit without a problem. the getting them to play music is the problem.

00ls did you connect the ground cable when you hooked everythng up because the ground cable is seperate from the harness i believe.

I am interested in buying the speakers. I have a 2000 LS. It does not have any speakers at all in the back dash. Will it be a problem installing? Do you think i have to run new wiring?

Do you have an alpine system. If not you might be able to buy and adapter but this would requirer hooking each of the wires up yourself and not use the harness.

I dont. I do have a lil experience hooking up systems though. I was hoping for an easy hook up.

no, i just plugged the amp into the factory harness. i didn't see a separate ground cable.

This cord is wierd but it was a power or "ground cord" i believe because it was made out of copper.

One end was screwed down on a bolt holding the enclosures up, and the other end of the cord was screwed on the bolt that was holding the amp to the enclosure, but it was touching the amp.

So that might have been your problem.

Go in your trunk anyways and see if there is a harness. If your looking in your trunk then it will be in the far back left of the trunk. If you have that then you probably would be able to use it.

Also 00Ls said that it would be able to be installed in your car, but its just the wiring that he had a problem with.
