Is there something on the trunk that can be adjusted to make it close properly? The left side is out of align and it's rubbing every time I close it. In other words the left side sits up and the right side sits lower. Is there something that can be done about this? Thanks

there are 4 screws, two on each arm for the trunk that you can unscrew and adjust. i had to take those off when i did my suicide trunk and when i put the lid back on it was off. i played with it a bit and I fixed it

Thanks man for the quick response. I'll try that and see what I come up with.

of course, hope that works, can't think of what might have set it off alignment in the first place though. do you have a loud audio system?

No I don't, it's always been that way ever since I bought the car but didn't really know how to correct it.

aligning the decklid and hood on any car is alot easier with two people, so if i were you i'd find a friend to help.

If its just that one side is "higher" than the other, like it isn't flush with the quarter panels. Use the two little screws on the deck lid to adjust where it sits in the closed position.

No tools required, just twist. They're black plastic, IIRC.

Actually, thinking about it, they might be in the lip on the trunk instead of the decklid. If I could get to my car more easily I'd go check exactly where they're at. Sorry I can't be more specific.

Clear history report, my car is like brand new.

I do have a sub in the back and i do pound it pretty hard. I already replaced a mirror because it was leaking dimming fluid. lol.
