I called Ford today...

I ordered a new door handle and a courtesy lense, But I also tried to order the rear trunk emblem only to find out that they are discontinued! :mad:

And I need one, mine is completely gone exposing the keyhole :(

Anyone got one in good shape??
 
I have a NOS waiting for install, my original fell off! The whole thing, not just the emblem.
 
Ok lets start the bidding!!! I have one good one left...one of only 3 left in the US!!!

Just kidding. The one I have is $102.48 retail and LVC is $76.86 to the first email to arrive at my EMAIL addy. Then they are all gone forever.

You know I have ordered over 500 of them and only kept about 150 because they were really sub standard, voids in the chrome, emblem marred, spring broken etc. I would not buy one from someone who just stocks them for fear of getting one of the bad ones and not being perfect like you guys demand of these parts!!

Typically the "gentleman" way to do it is let the thread starter get first dibs... and if they fall through... then it's all you Wood_E. Since I was the one to first ask about it, but got served instead.

If I wanted to fight 30,000 other people on ebay I would have went there first.

Quit crying about it - I needed a part so I emailed Max. I personally don't know what quantity he has on hand, but I had a need and it was met.

If you need something OEM and don't want anyone else to get at it use PMs. Posting in a public forum is fair game to anyone IMO.

Also - you're not fighting anyone on ebay. Sellers for the emblems usually have a buy it now price on them. You could've gone there - and got what you needed.

Here is the phone # and addy for the other 2 left in the country at ford dealers... If team ford has them they are not on the locator....

Thank you Max. I think I have a line on one. Waiting to see what happens. Paid more than what I wanted to for it. but thats the way it goes sometimes.
