Folks, Winter is over and that means one thing.

The road is OPEN!!!

This weekend me and my buddy took a road trip to Boston to check out a car show, to get away from NYC and to just hit the road.

I've been to Boston a few times but mostly on business. This time I had more time to walk around and to explore. Weather was great, Hilton hotel next to Quincy Market was convenient and classy, food was satisfying and drinks where well, proper.
The road to Boston was also not bad, very fast. We were going 80 MPH most of the time, trying to keep up with traffic and got there from NYC in 3 hours! I averaged 25.6 MPG which I thought was a bit low, but I am planning to change plugs soon.
Car performed great and I enjoyed it's new front end with all new suspension. The only things missing are the new FORD struts I want to replace those silly Arnott units with. Once that is done I am sure the car will drive like new.

I know $4.10 a gallon is a bit steep, but summer is here folks, lets enjoy it and spend some time driving, touring this beautiful country!!!

Next trip is for my girls B day, Jazz festival in Montreal. So NYC- Montreal-Quebec-Portland-Boston-NYC.

I'd love to go to Boston..The only thing i hate about it is it's sports teams.

bean town! even though i am from massachusetts, i have only been to boston twice. i dont remember alot of it because i was young, the last time i went was to the boston museum of science. aerosmith has a pub they own in boston called mama kin. godsmack is from boston too, sully erna lives somewhere on the outskirts of boston, the announcer on jimmy kimel live lives in marshfield mass but he went to school and college in boston, his name is dicky barrett he was the lead singer of the mighty mighty bosstones. another thing i love about boston is one of the best radio stations ever, 107.3 WAAF
i like the pics you took there is some seriously old history in boston.
