I managed to remove the pan before I realized the car doesn't have a dip stick. so how do I put enough fluid in to get it to a dealership to get it done right?

Squirt it in with a nozzle that fits the plug. And btw, I was just quoted 69.95 by a local oil change place that has the pump. pull a cooler line and do a complete exchange including the converter

Damn that's cheap! I was quoted around 120 for mine.. Remember, it takes about 11.8 quarts so that's why the price is high.. Are you sure that was using Mercon V fluid?

common sense is to research the job before you start it, not after.

I paid about $150 at a Ford dealer to ensure it was done right, and with the right fluids. Had it done at about 80k miles, and plan to sell the car at about 160k miles (another two years), so even though the $150 is kinda high, it's a one time deal for me.
