i've been thinkin as usual about moreless what we can do to milk these engines for all they've got with bolt ons. i realize there isn't much room but i've seen long tubes stuffed into a mark so there's no reason tri's couldn't be made to fit.. the thoughts i have is that tri y's make the best use of low-mid torque and still support higher rpm power.. so we'd gain some low end power and that grows the higher the rpm after all, hp=tq x rpm. not to mention the 1 5/8 primaries found on practically all aftermarket headers are too big especially considering the small c.i.d. and small exhaust valves. and for the cost of what we use we should be getting more bang for the buck. check this out and i think you will feel the same way.. i'm shocked nobody(to my knowledge) has looked into it
