Trenz horizontal grill for lincoln ls/opinions

What does everyone think/know of the trenz horizontal grill for the ls? negatives/positives, installation, does actually look as good in person as it does in this picture?

Personally not my style...too much chrome. But that's just me. Installation should be pretty easy.

Please dont feel offended ( like some people ) since you are asking for a opinion but I personally think even in pictures they look ugly.

I cant comment on quality or installation but there is just something that looks cheap. Like not quality cheap but just stupid cheap. I guess:shifty:


I would try out one of the various factory grilles since they fit all or the McLaren but its your choice.


That horizontal stuff don't accent the car for some reason.

lol no offense taken! But I have noticed that not too many ls owners have gone with this style of grill so I'm assuming the popular opinion is negative. However for some reason, and I really dont know why, I like it. It kinda makes it look like the newer mercedes models. That being said, I'm in need of a new grill, bumper and hood, (damn ice) and I definetly want peoples opinions before I buy anything. I dont wanna drive around lookin like an :q:q:q:q:q:q:q! lol

Personally I would do either a 2nd Gen LSE or a flat out 2nd Gen grille. Or get a 2nd gen and have the chrome surround painted to match the car. One member even got a 2nd gen LSE grille and painted the chrome cascades as they call it ( the center ) black. That looks freakin cool also!

I posted a chrome McLaren on sale on e-bay but it had some errors on it and some of the guys didn't like but it at least showed how the grille would look if chromed and IMO it look awesome!

IMO the LSE grill is the best looking grill, i am tempted to go to the used car lot and strip one from a ls, but i cant bring myself to destroy a LS like that

here's mine. a lot of people don't like it but at the end of the day they do not drive your car. everyone here has their own opinion, we don't always agree what looks good and what doesn't but that's a good thing or else everyone's LS would look the same. do you, and that's all that matters, don't get swayed away from something if other people don't like it.

Rick, thats good advice, thank you and everyone else for their advice/opinion! Thats why I love this website. A lot of good ideas floating around and people who really know how to make thier car look good! I especially like what you've done with yours JWerner, what a clean look! I'm still way up in the air about which grill to go with lol. There are too many good ideas!
