So I have a 2002 Lincoln LS V8, while driving in between 40-50 mph it likes to chug a little not anything like to violently, but you feel alittle jerking every so often between those speeds any ideas on why, and how it can be fixed?

More likely your COP/coils are starting to fail, do a search on coils or COP, a lot has been written.

You know as weird as it sounds, im so glad to hear that in a sense that it isn't the transmission. Still bad that i got to fix something but glad to hear that.

Maybe so but from the price of a transmission fix, to the price of a COP/Coils fix, I am pleased. So i was looking up onto everything though and looks like I should go with Visteon? See i just got this 2002 Lincoln LS V8 and am just learning about the Lincoln LS's i did of course do a little research before i got the car, but have learned their great cars overall and can't wait to start getting stuff for it. By the end of this week i will be putting my two 12in Kenwood subs, powered by a kicker amp, and get my new deck put in! :D so ill have pictures up soon.

I purchased VCG's from Amazon and Visteon COP's off Ebay. Getting plugs today and all will be installed Saturday. Replace one, replace 'em all. If you find any oil on plug or boot, I'd also do the VCG's like I'm doing.

Yeah, felpro gasket for ~43$ in this thread.

Visteon cools 8 = $180 on amazon or ebay sold by ADautoparts.

NGK Platinum sparkies for 3$ each at autozone or motorcraft plugs on ebay. Get a gapper like this and not a coin type for gapping the plugs to OEM specs.
Amazon.com: Lisle 67800 Spark Plug Gapper: Automotive

Also you'll need:

Dielectic grease and anti seize lube for sparkies
Ultra black RTV sealant for VCG
Various sockets

Tutorial on valve cover gasket replacement.

Before you buy all this though just take a quick look under the coil covers and pull some coils out to check for oil in the wells. More than likely if they havent been done already there will be oil in the sparky wells

Good luck!
