Transmission help please.

Ok so here it is... 2002 LS, V8 114,000 miles

Basically every now and then the tranny slips. Im wondering, valve body, solenoid pack or tranny. Last week it threw a check transmission warning but left when restarted. Can the code be pulled with a standard OBDII scanner? I really dont wanna pay the stealership $106 an hour...

Many of the transmission codes are generic OBDII, so a standard scan tool should work for this.

Nice! So instead of paying for a scan Ill just buy a scanner haha thank you.
