tranny shifts hard from od to 3rd

I'll be driving down the highway and go to pass someone and it shifts hard out of od into 3rd like somethings breaking. loud clunking noise from under my seat. I have searched around and can not find anything. Can anyone help me out please.

Check the tranny mount. I have seen them break on other cars and under a hard shift the tranny will slap the tunnel.

thank you, I was thinking that. but every once in a while it wont do it. when i get a day off i will check it, thank you again
