Tranny Question

Sometimes when im driving slowly when my car shift into 4th between 30 and 35mph it sounds like im running over rumble strips just for a second or two untill it completes the shift. What do you think is causing this? Or am I just accelerating too slowly for it or somthing stupid like that.

LMAO. Do you think that'll raise my top speed? LMAO. Is there a specific type of MercV that i'll need to use or is there just one type?

Only one type of Mercon V fluid but different brands. Castrol, Valvoline, ect.

Some might have a preferred brand. I really don't but I have Castrol in mine now but I just bought a case + 2 quarts of Valvoline Mercon V for when I put the 98 trans in. I never really heard much about brand talk for tranny fluid on here but most have a preference with oil. Mobil 1 FS for me but some use regular 10W-30, some use Amsoil, Royal Purple....
