tranny issues looking for info on what may have went wrong

when the tranny went it gave a hard clunk and the would not shift our of first until around 4500rpm onlight throttle. the it started to shift a little better but still felt like it was never locked into each gear 2,3,4. like a i said first gear was fine. if someone has aclue to what the issue might be i have a 98 tranny that i am swapping but i am concerned with the solenoids in the 94 tranny. due to the ohm's difference between the 94 and 98

it broke....put the 98 trans in

like I told you about 50 times, that early model transmission's "days were numbered" the day it rolled off the assembly line.

thrashing an OEM tune, early model trans is like russion roulette.
IF you PLAY, LONG ENOUGH your gonna WIN...or lose depending on your point of view.

You keep "spinning the chamber" and THAT day, leaving the toll booth your rolled SNAKE EYES.
