Traded my stock speakers for sun roof deflector and now leakage

has anyone had this problem? i traded my stock speakers for the deflector and installed it like he said and went out to my car after it rained and there was water all over the center console, in th eoverhead light display. any input on why its happening.

That sucks, man. Don't those just attach with double sided tape? I don't see how that would mess with the seal around the sunroof, unless that deflector is somehow causing water to pool around and over the seal.

Im in the hospital now hadsurgery yesterday so i cant get pics. it hooks up by 2 clamp like things that you hook a lip on the inside and close the sunroof. originally i thought it would have to leak and sure enough it did.

I've never seen a deflector hook to the inside of a sunroof. They usually have dble sided tape like said above.

i traded my stock speakers to someone who wanted them and he gave me a sunroof deflector, not much to it. and the sunroof hooks inside the car with 2 hook type things and it caused a leak so i removed it. just wondering if anyone had experienced this as welll

Is this sunroof deflector you have made by Motorcraft for the LS?

not sure it has a lincoln emblem in the moulding. not sure who made it.
