I am now the proud owner of a Silver 2006 Cadillac XLR with 45K miles.
 
I'm at work but I can put up pics tonight. I got the car last week but I have been traveling for work and Ive only gotten to drive it a couple times so far. I LOVE IT!
 
Im not fond of it.

I do like the sts and dts however.
 
The XLR-V? Roadster?

Never been a fan of the XLR personally. I don't like their look. I'm not a big Corvette fan either, but if I had the cash I'd rather buy one of those and get a coupe with a proper manual versus the caddy with the autostick
 
The one I bought is not a V. The inside is immaculate and it has black leather with the dark cherry wood. Heads Up Display (Spedometer in the windshield) and Heated/Cooled Seats. 320HP V8 Engine. It drives really nice. I do miss having a back seat and a trunk though. I will be adding a muffler this weekend so I can hear the engine.
 
Hmm.

How would you compare the ride quality to the LS?? Gonna go with a full catback system or just mufflers? Magnaflow or Bassani??

I'm still waiting for my plates to come in.
The Suzuki sh1t will be removed immediately once they come in.
 
Cool, good for you. I think the Chiclets are in an even more awkward place than most GMs...going to pull them off?
 
Yeah. It was actually the first thing I planned on doing after work. I plan on using floss to pop em off. I'll probably end up debadging the whole car. I gotta get these windows tinted also. whenever you open the door though the windows roll down a bit automatically so im scared it will mess up the tint.

Im sure its a setting you can change...check the owners manual.

Cool. There must be a fuse or something you can do to stop the windows temporarily. Tint is a definitely plus, and I am sure there is a forum where folks have figured it out.
 
Nice ride, but just like the LS because front/rear pics don't do it much justice.
