Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the clutches in a track lock? My old ones have square locking tabs. All the new ones have rounded ends. What is the difference?

I think it was when they're made. Old ones had square tabs if I'm not mistaken.

Some say its because they're carbon fiber clutches but you would be able to tell when you pulled it apart.... the friction will look like its weaved. Almost looks like fiberglass cloth.

What did they come out of, and is there a part number cast in to the trak loc housing?

I dont know what it came out of. It was in a mark that was parted out. I believe there is a part number on it. I will have to look into it further.
