blaaahhhh

IM TIRED OF THE 15's!!!

last time at the track i ran a 15.6 and a 15.5...

I tried manual shifting, something didnt work becuase once i hit 3rd it got confused. ran a 16.6. dodge diesel i raced ran a 21 lol, made me feel good.

next run i left it in d5 like normal. ran a 15.6. raced a WRX, if it wasnt a drag race and just a stop light race, man it woulda looked GOOD! he ran a 14.8 but from 0-70 i had a car on him. then from 70-90 he put half a car on me.

next run my stupid traction control was on and i ran a 16.05. that run was great tho becuase a guy in a Lt1 camaro that i raced was stairing me down like "why is he in a lincoln?". he ran a 16.2, probably the worst driver ive seen so far. i dont know how he spun in 3rd, but he did. basically it was a big long 3 gear burnout till the 1/8th mile.

i know this car is faster, but how do i get it there. i took out the spare, all the weight, had 1/4 tank of gas. still ran a 15.6. last time i had golf clubs, spare tire, all that :q:q:q:q.

60' times suck 2.3, 2.4 and 2.6.

i get to the line, stage, put on foot on the brakes , rev it up a little bit. 3rd yellow i go (got a .07 reaction time and a .12 and then .4 when the t/c was on).

any pointers?

guessing its not a sport since you dont sound like your using SST.... dont rev it past about 1200 rpm at the tree..... running big wheels? That'll slow you down. Try D4, slightly higher octane, and letting the car get plenty of cool down time. All and all, for a non SST that I'm assuming is stock thats not bad.... about right actually
