Will a gen 2 tps and wiring work on a gen one throttle body? I've compared the sensors side by side and the look mechanically the same except for the different connectors for the wiring. Is this one of those parts that maintained the same function but changed shape from gen 1 to gen 2 like the iac, evr, ect, etc.? Primary reason for asking is because of the engine swap I'm working on. The harness I have uses gen 2 style connectors and sensors, so I wanted to know if I could just swap the sensor over instead of splicing in the wiring for a gen 1 tps since most of the ones I try to pull end up snapping at the locking tangs/tabs due to there age and the fact that I live in a 110+ degree climate that dry rots anything and everything.

Thanks LVC you guys rock!

Okay, how about this for questions then.... Are the pin outs the same? Are the operating voltage ranges the same?

Looks to me like another reshaped sensor they both are within the same ohms and operating voltage and physically are the same other than the actual electrical plug in.
