Towncar 351 Windsor Swap

Can anyone tell me which is the best fit transmission for a 1998 Lincoln Town Car Swap...Engine is a 1995 Ford 351 Windsor...Im trying to use factory drive shaft, Transmission cross member, and mount....so far the Towncar transmission won't bolt up properly...only the top two bolts and driver side bolt will work and the rest is open space..Now I need to know what would be a better option... I forgot to mention that the engine came out of a 1995 Ford Truck... Im not sure if that will work either...

The TC came with the 4.6L and those are real common so I would not do the 351 conversion. Too much work and expense for no gain.
What's wrong with the 4.6L in the TC?

getting away from factory computer and love the cheap 351W Performance upgrades and reliability..So far so good... Not expensive at all to me.... Building it for performance and longevity...
