ok an ordinary 2007 town car wieghs 4413 pounds. they also make what is called a town car L. does anyone know what the curb wieght of a town car L is? I cant it the info anywheres

The series you are referring to is the Town Car "Signature L." It is the top-of-the-line Town Car. It starts at $50,500. This Town Car is extended, I think about 8 inches, in the rear seat. These are the options available:

Per the '02 Town Car specs, the TC 'L' weighs in at ~5400 lbs. This should apply to all 98-02 TC 'L's

Like J0ne said, the increase is 6" to the rear floor pan area. This is on top of the already 3" increase in wheelbase on Town Cars over the Crown Vic/Marquis platform siblings.
