Alright,

As the title says, Im looking for some touchup paint, and I also did a search

Im currently looking at paint via "PaintScratch.com"

However, After online reviews. People are saying the paint is not perfect or does not match fully as its a metallic paint.

I have a few chips on my hood, one on the windshield pillar, and also someone F**** keyed the front passenger door. not ONCE but TWO times.

opinions please.

Is your car tricoated?

If it is tri coated even if you had a thing of the ACTUAL paint your car was done in it wouldn't match right unless you sprayed it down... you can't touch tri's with a brush in one coat and expect them to match.

Paintscratch sends a quality product. If it doesn't match they will work with you until it does.

Paint code is TV

Midnight Grey metallic.

I plan on doing multiple coats, along with applying the clearcoat provided from paintscratch

the clear they send (at least the 12 oz spray cans) is just duplicolor professional. i just got some spray cans from them for an 03 explorer i.m detailing. it was a metallic, and looks like a good enough match for me.

scratch repair

Try using a syringe, just draw the paint into it and slowly push it into the center of the scratch. By not bleeding the paint out on the smooth surface, it stays hidden much better!

You can get one at most pharmacies for a buck or so, they'll probably ask you to sign for it so they can track your drug use! lol!:D

Remember to apply thin coats till it's all filled in. Don't judge the color until you apply the clearcoat.
