Well...I am very pissed off right now. I was jacking up my car, put the jack in the middle of the subframe, where it has that bulge/lip, and all was fine, then the car falls down....catches on the oil pan, and sits. I jack it up, side by side, put tires back on, start up, and here the crank hitting it. So, I am just dropping the subframe, and going to hammer out the dent. Well, let's just hope that's all it is. Anyhow, does anybody have any threads on how to support the engine from up top? Thanks. Guess my issues with this car will never end. Maybe it's time. :shifty:

Ouch dude....... bad luck

Buddy of mine jacked up his '71 Mach 1 by the core support once. Completely caved it.

A slightly more conventional route. ;)

Haha no Kooks here anytime soon. Would be nice though. I finally got around to messing with the car at about 2, got done at 9. Turned out the jack slipped, made a good enough dent, at a good enough angle, to push up the crank scraper, and started letting the crank eat at it. Hammered the dents back out, and the scraper back down to where it should be. Hope thats all that was wrong, as in the morning ill go get some oil and fire her up, and hopefully she runs nice. Overall, the process was easier then expected and i liked how there is so much room after you drop the sub frame. :D
