Top 50 Mark VIII Parts

Everything I've seen above looks good, so I'll just add a couple things until I can think of something else:

Gen 1 center console lid. Every Mark I've parted out has had this part either broken or flattened out so bad it looks bad and hardly works.

Gen 1 light covers/lenses from the bottoms of the doors. I'm sure these probably interchange with other Ford models, but most of the Gen 1 Marks I've seen are missing these or I'll find them later when I'm parting them out somewhere else in the car with the tabs broken off of them.

Of course, the parts that we're already seeing in high demand/limited supply, many of which have already been mentioned: 93 driveshafts, W3Z2 ECU's, Gen 1 HID housings, grilles, LSC bumpers/moldings, hard button climate control, etc.

Nice gen 1 door panels that aren't warped, cracked or have peeling rubberized coating on that trim piece..hard to find in even the popular colors let alone the rare ones.

1996 VCRM

1996 IMRC's

Gen 1 HID's

I have 3-vcrms (vlcm's actually) for a 96, a couple for 93/94/95 along with ECM's for those years,2 and 1/2 sets of IMRC's for 96's,-three-'96 ECM's, a number of those relays for the ABS/air ride compressor. I grab whatever I can when I find one in the boneyard and have 4 sets of the halogen headlight housings, a few throttle bodies, IAC's, MAF sensors, interior tirm parts, I have perfect LSC trim IN MY COLOR (inserts and front/rear bumper covers). Extra hard button EATC's. (and a perfect EATC for a 93, came out of a car with only 36,000 miles-I grabbed that dash pod too) for 93/94, the rounded one for a 96 and second gen parts that I just stockpiled-engine covers with no broken tabs, intake tubes, OEM alternators, ac compressors and tensioner pullys.

lets face it, as these get older it is going to be almost impossible to get some items, and I plan on hanging on to mine for a long time. I have extra air springs and solenoids, compressors and even a complete Strutmaster coil conversion setup I found in a JY this winter. Since I have a good size garage with a floored loft, storage is not an issue.

Don't forget, the field service manuals-they are getting hard to find, and expensive too.

98 trans, 93 drive shaft, wz32 ecu, clock springs, are some things i didnt see

things i want. this list will grow

lsc bumpers and moldings

1st gen hids,
a set of 95,96 black seats with the logos embroidered in them. with soft perfect leather.
black rubber coated trim piece on the drivers door

virtually all suspension bolts.
trans cross memmebr
rear upper control arm
gen 2 steering column parts from non-functioning units.

Moldings are universal,
Bumpers yes, but storage space :(

on a gen 1? not the same between LSC and base. will they work in eachothers place? sure.

personally i wont put that chrome strip crap on mine though.

Yes! YES! YES!!! Please tell me you're Santa and I've been a good boy and it's Christmas.

Especially black perforated LSC seats. Mine are showing their age, and all the conditioner in the world isn't making a big difference. Driver's seat's pretty hard, I think the foam's about shot.

Oh and in case it hasn't been mentioned: ALL of the '96 specific parts. If you Are what you Drive, both me and my car are the Odd Duck. I also noticed that despite being the lowest production run, there are a LOT of '96 Mark VIIIs represented on this forum. Still trying to figure that one out...
