well i took it to the strip was about 72-75 degrees busy as all get out and ran 15.6xx at 92.xx mph every run. I was a little disappointed but oh well this is my cruiser, the cobra is my fast car lol. I did a lot of talking to XLRVIII to see what how to set up the car. oh i might mention that im a fat kid and that probably didnt help matters and i had a passenger. still was kinda fun to see what the old girl would do.

she did although she got sick and didnt want to drive the lincoln down the track. She had never been to the strip before so it was something new for her

ok sounds good ill see what i can do with it and get back to you... oh and i cant make any promises on being smarter so i can accept that you might not be nicer lol

Very true yellow will always make it faster. Hemi orange even faster though.:D

If stock, launch from idle and flash the converter and take off OD & TC as well as manual shift at 6k.

we went over all that on the phone while he was at the track.

the first two passes were "flashed from idle".

I asked him to try "leaving at 1K"..but he never called me back!
*LMAO*

I hammered it into him about shallow staging, but his runs were crap from the first ET timer (60 foot)...so, all bets were off til he can sort out "why the car wont leave".

MPH was 3-4 down <---suspect fuel delivery

had a good time talking to him on the phone tho..wish his turd woulda went faster. HAHA

Ok hahahaha, But really what does this mean? I am sorry, if this has been covered before please link me there cause I tried to search and failed miserably.

shes got a new filter... pump is going to have to wait... losing my job next week and going back to school so no upgrades for me for a long while... sob :(

I went to the track a week ago tomorrow and was very impressed...

I managed to get a 15.01 out of my Mark Viii, at about 94mph...

I think it's got 14.90's in it...

Make sure the car is tuned up before you hit the track. My 96 bone stock with old man touring tires ran a 14.93 at 95.79mph at a slow track, flashing the converter and left it in drive.

And how do you/what does it do to flash the convertor?
