Well, took the car around the block today, washed her up nice and clean, everybody was just staring at her. I must say DAMN, she can go! :D I think I am shaking and wanna go drive her again and am just so happy right now. Power steering leak is killing my arms though lol. Will install the new line tomorrow, and she will be road worthy!!! :D I just wanted to talk to guys that understand that feeling when it's your first time driving it, and you give her WOT. :D

LOL, i feel you bro. im like that when ever i dont drive my car for a while.

3 1/2 months of fixing her and endless amounts of money, damn right I am happy to finally drive her! :D Gah, she sounds so nice, even just with the 3rd muffler and cat removed and stock mufflers still installed. When I floored it, I was like!!!! Idk what to say, just am ecstatic lol.

lol, i cut off my mufflers. still have the 3rd cat and resonator... i like how it sounds. its loud all around!

I had only a third cat. The cats were gone after the new engine install. Then later on I took the mufflers off. A little loud, but it sounded pretty good. Now I have a Benz, and I want to get it really quiet... lol

You slacking on me now? Lol

Hmm, think there it would be to much back pressure and sound :q:q:q:qty if I cut the mufflers off? After the cats, my brother welded two pipes on each side that went into a Y.

+1 on the benz, my dad's got a 03 benz c320 3.2L. i love benz's they will last for 400,000 miles as long as you take care of them, they really run forever. but right now i'd rather have an 8 cylinder luxury coupe :)

I'll have to wait until April 1st to drive mine. She's in winter storage and I have only driven her once. So looking forward to it!

Pics!!!!!!!
I drove my around the block yesterday after getting another battery on the second this year. I only drive it 2-3 a month for trips to the gas station for a cold silver bullet pack.

I know the feeling going from my dd the 95 then driving the 97 I fall in love all over again
Can't wait to get the wifes 97 Z28 back on the road its been down 3 1/2 years now

My daily driver has been a 96 Fleetwood since last November on the occasion that I drive my Mark VIII it's fantastic, much more nimble in every respect.
