too hot?!?

hey the other day im in my ride and i got both hands on the wheel with my face on my arms because traffic at a stand still. I had all my windows open but i felt this pure heat on my hands and face. I feel around and the guages were super hot. Ive never had a car that did that. is this normal?

todays gonna be pretty hot out, i'll see if mine is like that. but i've had the car for 2 years in some pretty hot days. i never noticed that.... :steering
