They are not gone, they moved their werehouse (Tokico) to another location. I ordered their full kit including springs last year. After I got the backorder email and called to check status many times they showed up in about 4 months. I did not order through partstrain but another interweb vendor (forgot the name). They were very good with their comm skills and I was happy when they finally showed up but I would have been much happier if they were Koni's!

So what are the choices for a performance based front end spring/shock conversion as of today?

I called Tokico. They told me the fronts are not discontinued. But, the US factory has not been able to make any for 2 months. There is a shortage on the shock itself from their Fukushima factory. They said it will be at least another 4 weeks.
