so i plan on re painting my 2000 LS this winter and i was wondering if anyone handy with photoshop could make me up a rear end pic with the trunk mounted tail lights shaved off. im sure some of you wont like this idea but theres not much we can do in terms of customizing. and i think ima do this thx
 
Very radical approach. You definitely are planning to keep that car with that possible approach. LOL.
 
Soooo where are your brake lights gonna be located? I don't think people behind you will appreciate this mod...not to mention the police, DOT, or the inspection shop

It's not as bad as I thought. At first it was a shriek then a "emph".

The issue is she's gotta big ass that offsets the lights waaay too much. Like those alien-eyed girls in high school. If the rear bumper profile wasn't made for the navigator it could work.

Which brings my question, anyone ever think of a rear diffuser like all the cars are doing now?

I am working on one, as well as eventually custom wide fenders and such, all in time

I'd be interested in that for the looks, something to take up all that space at the bottom of the bumper. I've thought about it for some time. Might have to acquire a cheap used bumper to draw out and cut if I find a diffuser that would flow with the rear without looking gaudy.
 
personally i like it. I may consider this. as for lights im just gonna relocate them to the outer taillight. not going for sporty just wanna loose the inner tails and door handles. possibly suicide rears and a nice set of wheels.done and done.. and yes i do plan on keeping this car. when the motor dies swap time :)

right???? is this sarcasm believe me i have more then enough money to accomplish this feet. im a professional body piercer at 2 shops. hate all you want. i dont pay people to do my work. the only way to get something done right is to do it your self
 
and yes i do things a lil extreme heres my lac. candy pink. i dont do gay ricer **** and i hate body kits. flame all you want. build a lowrider then talk all the **** you want its far harder then working on a lincoln ls.

Ewwww! Me no likey! It just doesn't look..."right"...like something's missing. As was said before, the ass end of this car is so big, it needs those trunk mounted lights to provide some contrast to separate the giant trunk profile from the similarly huge rear bumper. And deleting those lights makes it look like the tail lights are cut off and incomplete. I was thinking maybe a crease in the trunklid connecting the tail lights may help.

Not sure what money has to do with this or what "gay" ricer **** is, but right on! Keep us posted on this FEET?!? ...let us know when you get started.

and more about the "extreme caddy". you must have some better pics then half a gas station parking lot shot..
 
ppl having doubts hit me up on fbook names Piercer Jay. im here to make friends not enemys... so you should all grow up and pull your heads outa yer asses. the LS was a 40 thousand dollar car, WAS ..... stop acting like you all drive 100k cars.... :)
