Was just wondering how much of a difference tires can make in the 1/4 mile. Talking only about street tires here, not drag radials or slicks.
I only have 4 runs under my belt, but I havent been able to get below 15.3
Im running BFGoodrich Traction T/As (standard touring all season).
Are the tires playing a role in my slow times or is it likely just poor launching.
I have 3 BFGoodrich G-Force Sport (high performance summer) tires which could fit on these wheels. If I put those on (assuming I bought a 4th) would it make much of a difference?
Also Ive heard that having tires mounted and unmounted several times a year is bad for the finish on your wheels, is this true?
