Tinting Tail lights

i want to tint my back tail lights rather than putting a black cover on them.

how can this be done. no Vynial or window tint.. spray or something?

you can buy the paint at most auto stores. i got mine at car boutique. I know VHT makes tail light paint. make sure you follow the directions, keep the can far away from the tail lights!

Dont Buy The Vht Niteshades

it does not lay right.If you want it done right go to jonstintedtails.com they did mine over a year ago and they havent faded and still look like I just got them.

You could go the jonstintedtaillight.com route but you will be without your tails for 4-5 days. I checked every local shop in the area and found 3 that did it. They said stay away from the VHT nightshade as it fades. They quoted me 250 225 and 125. I of course went the 125 route and it looks real nice. They use a black auto paint and a clear coat so itll never fade. Took bout 1.5 hours. Id recommend asking around if you cant go without your lights.

I did mine over a year ago using the VHT Nightshade and clear coated them. So far they seem to be holding up just fine. It was time consuming with the sanding between coats but still came out pretty good for an amateur.
