Time to give my LS a little love. Brakes, struts, springs, tires, etc.

Its been a while since the last time Ive spent money on my car. So its time to do it again.
Plans are:

New tires.
New red center rotors, pads and brake lines all around.
Powdercoat calipers, rotors shields or w.e they r called behind the rotors.
Powdercoat sport wheels.
Powdercoat intake manifold and valve covers.
Powdercoat driveshaft.
Manual transmission extension house seal and custom fitted polyurethane mount.
SprintTech lowering springs.
Euro shocks all around (if I can find them at a price I can afford)
Polyurethane sway bar bushings (gotta figure which size the rears r)
Sway bar links all around.
Tie Rod ends.

So far, I bought 4 new Nitto NT555 Extreme 255/45 R17 for 450 shipped, they should arrive this tuesday. And aready received the springs.

Now Im looking for the brakes, Ive seen a couple on ebay but Im not sure yet which one to get. I hope this package is still available http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showthread.php?t=46171

Already ordered the tranny seal, and will take a look at the oem mount to see which polyurethane mount will fit, I will provably need to do a custom bracket Im guessing.

Valve covers and intake manifold will go matte dark grey or matte purple as in Mine's BNR34. I couldnt find a pic but video is worth a watch YouTube- mines r34 time attack

I hope that break deal is still available too. It was a good deal for all 4 corners. Looks like you'll be busy this winter with your ls.
 
Yeah I need a place to leave the car for a couple of days till all the powder coated parts r ready..
I will call this dude Rich tomorrow to check whether the package is still available or not.

you SURE you want the euroshocks? A lot of the folks here who have had them say they are VERY stiff/harsh.
 
Yeah I want them too but have other things on my list before getting them

Thats what Im looking for. I want to improve cornering a little.

Ive emailed rotorpros already but no answer yet.

So besides this kit what else are LS owners using to upgrade brakes?
 
Never seen then 800 ones, and my car doesnt need so much breaking power yet.
 
I will need to replace my brake pads soon so I think I;m in for that deal to if its still around. Did you find out anything about it?
 
I looked rotor pro up on ebay and it looks like they are in orange county in CA. Thats not too far from me. I think I might check it out and save on the shipping
 
Almost, I have the money now, just sent them an email to confirm everything is as I think it is.
 
Does it still include the stainless steel lines? How much was it?
 
It does include them, but 2nd gen rear lines r out, so for 2nd gen the package price is lower due to it.
 
Did he happen to say when they would have then again?
 
We can still honor the price.. However, we learned that the StopTech lines are not available for the rears on 2003-up models.. If you have a newer model we can send you an adjusted price ( without rear SS brakelines ) If you do have the 2000-2002 model send us a www.paypal.com payment to richsrotors@yahoo..com Thanks

Thanks. The guy replied 300 shipped without the lines. I found ss lines from stop stech for 99. 50 more with the order seemed like a great deal. Sucks
 
I know !! I felt the same when I was reading the email.. Fortunately they r still available for 1st gens. I sent the payment already, hope to receive them januarys 2nd week.
 
I paid them this morning. So I'm only running ss line in the front but I found the rears for 100. I wont run into problem using ss line on just the front right? I can just wait to install the ss lines when I get the rears later if I can't use ss in the front and keep it stock in the rear

I do lots of canyon driving and the euroshocks perform very good. Quite a few people have asked me what kind of suspention work have I had done, when I tell them its all stock they think I am bull:q:q:q:qting them. Euro spec is the way to go. Thier is a Ford/Lincoln dealer in Vagas who sells them for less than 400 bucks for all four.
