So, jump in my car today and my electric tilt steering didn't do crap (except move up and down) but the telescope will slide by me pulling or pushing it (relatively easy). Anyone else have this issue and if so how much did it cost and how much of a pain was it to get fixed?

i have the same problem

they do not make the pontimeter (?) anymore iirc. The only option is to get a used unit on ebay or a yard.

just set it and turn it off, i did that and it still stopped working......moves up/down, but no in/out, even if i 'help' it........but at least its in the position i like it.

Yeah I got the same problem really annoying. One day just got in my car and bolts started falling out from the botton....

yeah thats no problem...can do that, but it was so cool opening the door and having everything move for my comfort. hhahah

can you manually set it in or out?

You have to take the steering wheel assembely out. 3 connectors, 6 bolts, then 1 bolt that holds it to the shaft. Open the case (torx bit) and you'll see a big black nut looking thing that you can adjust manually to make it move in/out

I beleive thats how it works, i am doing mine this weekend when i replace my mfs stalk.
