THX, no satellite radio?

This is my first post on this site, I checked the electronics section and used the search function but still havent found out if the factory THX/nav head unit has satellite radio or not. I would hope so, my girlfriends 05 chevy cobalt has it, how would an Ls not?

It was a dealer add on option I believe. Mine had it but I took it off for an ipod interface.

You can add it. In addition to OEM, there are (or at least were) some aftermarket options. (Not aftermarket with an RF modulator, but aftermarket where the sat tuner is controlled from the touch screen.)

Early 2003 models require a firmware update to add satellite, the rest are already ready for it.

Oh ok, great. Thanks guys. I might be buying a black on black 06 on Monday, if I get it do I just take it to the dealer and have them set me up with everything or is the aftermarket a better way to go?
