Ok so I did some research and found a few really old threads regarding this issue. What I have found is either conflicting experiences and opinions or incomplete threads. So.... here it is.

Will this plug into the back of my radio and function properly?

My radio is the THX/Nav with in-dash CD changer.

Sorry if this is common knowledge, not familiar with high tech OEM radios.

Probably not much help but I was stoked to hear mine came with an iPod interface. Only problem is that I think it only worked with the iPod's that were around during the time the car was made. It doesn't work with my iPod touch.

Then again that looks like it should allow you to plug anything into it with a headphone jack. I'm sure someone will be of further assistance. I for one wasn't happy with the iPod controls. It's not what our radios were meant for.

What year is your ls? I think the 06 were hit or miss but 03-05 should work.

Jmtiseo- They updated the interfaces to allow them to work with newer ipods and iphones. I'm not sure up to which ones or maybe now the new ones work with all ipods, but I did read recently they were now compatible with new ipods.
. Mine is an older version so it doesn't work with the newest ipods or iphones.

Here is the one you found on ebay trickett90, a little more info.

yes it connects to the back, get also a y adapter and run that cable to your center console not the glove box cuz they you wont be able to change tracks, you can also make it a blutooth system if you add this aswell http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&ke...=aps&hvadid=4229926719&ref=pd_sl_93e8t2i4oz_e
i did this and now i have bluetooth for my car and it can control the 2 devices and you can change the song withouth having to touch the phone if equiped with bluetooth. it gives 8 hours of music bad thing is that you cant charge and play at the same time but if you plug in eavery night you wont have that issue unless you have a big road trip thats over 8 hours, but it only takes 1 hour to charge.

Thanks a lot guys. Going to get the zune back up to par and make this a christmas gift for myself. I was killing time about 8 months ago in Joplin and the car audio shop there said the only option was to install a hard wired fm transmitter which would have been way more expensive than this. Glad I decided not to. I love LVC.

Thanks Alax. Not worried about it. After using an ipod through an aftermarket unit nothing can't compare. Just waiting to put in a double din.

i have a 06 with the same set up in my car works great there is another thing you need to buy for it to work i have thx with nav in mine
