Throttle Body Rebuild

I am currently looking into cleaning and rebuilding my throttle body from my Gen 2 LS 3.9 V8. I have searched high and low on different parts sites for a throttle body motor for my 3.9 but the only motor that's available is for the V6 and the only option thus far is to purchase a whole new or refurbished tb. The motor actuator from the other Ford Mercury and Lincoln Town Car model TBs look almost the same.

Question: Can I use a throttle body motor from any Ford? Can I use a Dorman TB motor for my 3.9 TB?

Also....which is the best model Throttle Position Sensor to use? Or is it best to stick with OEM?

Just go to eBay & get another one to work on. That way you won't make your car unusable while you mess around with this experiment
