2jz gte in a mark? would be pretty sweet, that motor would be more then enough to haul a marks fat ass around with some mods, could run helltech on it with aftermarket gauges.

thoughts?

a built mod motor will make more than enough power to haul a Mark around.
and won't be something from a dumb import.

hell, don with his stock motor vortech SC'ed 1st gen is running 11.66 @ 119.81.

great idea

i dont give a :q:q:q:q what an old ass comedian approves of, he can die for all i care, im gonna buy this engine and find a mark shell.

You'd be better off taking the 5.slow out of your vii and putting it in the mark.

He could just build a SC 300 like all the other 2jz nut swingers that want luxury.
That way the mark viii can keep its head high.

Meth injection and weight reduction put him there. That really makes me curious as to what Mike Schultz will run in his 98 running 10 more pounds of boost with a built motor. Mike has already got something in the works there and I think we'll see 10s out of his car in no time just like BurbankLSC once he gets it on meth. Chit, if a Mark VIII can run 10s, what more do you want. LOL If you have to put a chute on the damn thing you sure as hell can't drive it down the street and that's no fun. :D

+1

I'll be honest, I thought about doing something similar to this not too long ago. I came across a SC300 for cheap, but no, I'm still holding out for a Mark VIII, and whatever I do to it, it's staying a Ford mod-motor. I will say I do like the JZ-series engine. My buddy had a Mk III Supra with a slightly-built 1JZ swap, and it was a fairly nasty car until he totalled it driving in ice on the interstate about a year ago. Last I heard, he was swapping that motor into a 240SX.

Getting back to the topic at hand, though, if you're wanting to do a 2JZ, the SC300 would be a much better/easier platform to do that with. Just my opinion.

i think Cosby face is so classic because he used to own this. and Bill Cosby does NOT approve of rice

I have that album 200 mph. Funnest car humor I ever heard. I didn't know Shelby auctioned his off. 5,000,000.00 WOW and thanks for sharing.

turbo mod motor > 2j crap.

2jz is so highly overrated its stupid. the ONLY reason its so dreamed about is everyone and their mom builds parts for it. this is why its easier to make power out of it.
