I think he is right on this statement........the Lincoln LS could have been a performance car, yet it failed to build on the good atributes it had. If anything, the Lincoln is a 4 door sports car with decent power and capable handling.
On the other hand, the Mark VIII is a 2 door sports coupe (along the lines of a Thunderbird or Cougar) but with air suspension and DOHC. If anything, the Mark VIII has more than decent power and handles like a marshmellow.
Now, if you took the engine from the Mark and threw it in the LS or took the suspension from the LS and threw it in the Mark, you would have a performance machine.
